Deposit Payable in advance before your event - provided the building is not rented. Please call 704-849-7368 and leave a message for rental rates and information and someone will contact you.

** After the event, the house and grounds are inspected and if all is in order, your security deposit check will be returned. However, if damages occur or house rules are broken, you will be billed for any amount that exceeds $300.

Caterer, Rental, and Other Companies

Matthews Reid House has established a new business arrangement with Adam and Veronica Reed, proprietors of Santé Restaurant, 165 North Trade Street, Matthews NC. If you desire a turn-key event, please contact them at 704-845-1899. Voted "Best Restaurant for Romance".

Otherwise, you may choose whichever companies you desire for your event at Matthews Reid House. If you would like suggestions, we have a list available on request.
